Northbound and southbound I-35 from 75th Street to Southwest Boulevard will have lane and ramp closures beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
Crews will be working on full and partial depth pavement patching work, weather permitting, according to KDOT.
The work area includes parts of I-35 in Johnson County and a small area in Wyandotte County.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone through advance message boards, signs, barricades and cones.
On southbound I-35, the left two lanes from Southwest Boulevard to Lamar Avenue will be closed, with one through lane open, according to KDOT.
On northbound I-35, the left two lanes from Lamar Avenue to Southwest Boulevard will be closed, with one through lane open, KDOT stated.
The same ramp and lane closures, weather-permitting, are also scheduled:
• 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, to 5 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7.
• 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.
• 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8 to 12 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9.
