Valencia Scott, a 5-5 point guard from Olathe East, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Averaging 6 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds a game, Scott shot 39 percent from the field.
“Very athletic, Valencia likes to play an up-tempo game and has a lot of upside to continue to grow and develop as a player,” said KCKCC coach Valerie Stambersky.
Valencia was joined at her signing by her mother, Tanishia Hinton, and her uncle, Jajuan Turner.
