Kansas City Kansas Community College’s Business Solution Series Breakfast continues in April with a discussion on turning conversations into revenue and resources.
The breakfast is from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, in Room 3632 on the KCKCC main campus, 7250 State Ave. Park in Lot A or B and enter through the Performing Arts Center. The cost is $10 and reservations can be made by contacting KCKCC Workforce, Career and Entrepreneurship Center at 913-288-7644.
“The goal of the Business Solution Series is to assist businesses with identifying solutions for challenges all businesses face at some point in time in their growth process,” said Alicia Hooks, director of Entrepreneurship at KCKCC. “Secondarily, it will help to identify resource partners through networking and speakers who may assist with other strategic growth processes.”
During the Business Solution Series event, Christal Watson, president of the Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce, will be discussing networking techniques that can increase the revenue and/or sponsorship for businesses and organizations while additionally providing valuable resources.
“This is an inexpensive way to obtain valuable resources and information, which can impact their bottom line,” Hooks said. “The topics are chosen by Chamber partners based on the needs they have identified through their membership. These are needs their membership has expressed and collectively find as an ongoing challenge to be covered.”
The series is sponsored by KCKCC; the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City; the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City, Kan.; the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City; Wyandotte Economic Development Council’ Kansas City, Kansas Chamber of Commerce; the Unified Government of KCK-Wyandotte County; the Kansas Black Chamber of Commerce; the Leavenworth County Development Corporation, Downtown Shareholders and the Leavenworth, Lansing Chamber of Commerce.
