The administration at Kansas City Kansas Community College wants all students from the now closed Wright Career Colleges to know they have options.
“We welcome the opportunity to meet with students to evaluate their prior learning and help guide them to a path of completion” said Tami Bartunek, director of admissions.
KCKCC has ways of accepting credit through an alternative credit review process that could allow students from WCC and other non-regionally accredited institutions to earn credit by examination, life experience, advanced standing, military training or CLEP exams, according to a spokesman. KCKCC offers more than 100 degree options including programs in accounting, business, computers, paramedic, nursing, respiratory therapy, victim survivor services, addiction counseling, just to name a few, the spokesman said.
With tuition far below other local colleges and universities, KCKCC is a bargain and can help you complete a career path or guide you towards a higher degree completion, according to the spokesman.
