KCKCC volleyball player named an All-American

The 2021 NJCAA Volleyball All-Americans were released this week and Kansas City Kansas volleyball player Cassidy Crist was named a Second Team Division II All-American by the national office.

This is Crist’s second straight Division II Volleyball All-American award, after being named an Honorable Mention in 2020.

This award comes after Crist was named an All-Jayhawk First Teamer.

Crist had an outstanding season for the Blue Devils as she recorded 464 kills and a 4.38 kills per set average, while also totaling 246 digs and 61 total blocks. Her 4.38 kills per set ranked ninth in the nation, while her 464 kills were 12th at the JUCO level.

Crist helped the Blue Devils to a 22-11 record this season as they advanced all the way to the District Plains A championship game, where they eventually fell to Cowley Community College.
