An All-Star basketball game featuring the top high seniors from Wyandotte, Leavenworth and Johnson counties will be played at Kansas City Kansas Community College Sunday, April 26.
The game, which will match selected seniors from Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties against Johnson County seniors, will tip off at 4 p.m.
“Coaches from all the high schools in the three counties have been asked to submit nominations of their seniors who they felt were deserving to play,” said Joe McKinstry, KCKCC assistant men’s coach. “We also asked coaches to consider academic and personality characteristics as well as athletes’ ability when nominating players.
“We are very excited to get this event off and running this year. We have a great group of student-athletes ready to represent their schools, teammates and coaches.”
