It is that time of year when nice weather means time spent on the golf course. Why not play a round of golf and help the Kansas City Kansas Community College Endowment Association at the same time?
The 2015 Scholarship Scramble is June 18 at the Falcon Lakes Golf Course, 4605 Clubhouse Drive in Basehor, Kan. The scramble starts at 1 p.m., and the fee is $150 per player or $600 for a four-person team. Pricing includes 18 holes of golf and a putting contest, lunch and dinner, two drink tickets, a goodie bag, $10 pro shop gift card and entry into the Longest Drive Contest.
For an additional $20, teams can purchase a “Golf Guarantee.” This guarantee includes two-guaranteed 280+ yard “down the middle” drives on Falcon Lakes No. 1 and No. 2 handicapped holes; one guaranteed putt for birdie on Falcon Lakes most difficult Par 3 and one guaranteed “mulligan” for each player on the team.
“Our third annual Scholarship Scramble is a chance for people to enjoy a fun day on the golf course with great networking opportunities and help raise funds for much needed scholarships for students at KCK Community College,” said Patrick McCartney, executive director of the KCKCC Endowment Association. “We would like to thank all our sponsors, especially our title sponsor AT&T, for their continued support of the Endowment and this great event.”
In addition, there are several sponsorship opportunities available. A Cart Sponsorship is $50 (name on the cart/name in the program); $200 for a Hole Sponsorship (signage at hole/name in program) and a Reception Sponsorship for $1,000 (team, hole and cart sponsorship, recognition on all promotional materials).
