Kansas City Kansas Community College’s 2019 Get Hired-Kansas City Career Fair will be April 25.
With more than 90 employers last year, this is considered one of the largest career fairs in the area. Employers are urged to register early to get a booth before space runs out.
The fair is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25 at the Reardon Convention Center, 510 Minnesota Ave. in Kansas City, Kansas. There are special accommodations for veterans and disabled from 9 to 10 a.m.
Last year, more than 90 employers were present to meet with attendees, and a number of those interviewed were hired on the spot.
“We are here to serve our community in the best ways possible. Employers are eager to hire attendees while service organizations will be present to assist with other needs attendees may have who come to the career fair,” said Alicia Hooks, director of entrepreneurship, workforce, and the career center at KCKCC.
The host of the career fair is KCKCC in partnership with Congresswoman Sharice Davids’ office, the Kansas City, Kansas, Mayor’s Office, Veterans Affairs, Workforce Partnership and other service agencies and volunteers ready to assist attendees.
To register online, visit https://gethiredkc.eventbrite.com. Early bird pricing is available until Feb. 28. Regular pricing on all booth space ends April 12. Reserve a booth early.
There is no charge to attend for individuals who are applying for a job.
