The purpose of the Pitch Competition is to inspire entrepreneurs and educators to innovate as well as to connect with potential investors, organizations and the community. It is also an opportunity to mentor and promote the entrepreneurial spirit in Kansas City. The competition has a national platform to showcase participants’ business or product ideas. Friends, family and investors from throughout the United States can view a video of the pitch and cast their votes online. This provides a wider viewing audience for the product or service participants are presenting at the competition.
