The Kansas City Kansas Community College Music Department is making final preparations for its Fall Jazz Concert.
The concert is at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at the KCKCC Performing Arts Center, 7250 State Ave. It is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted to go toward travel costs for several KCKCC ensembles who are going to the Jazz Educators Network National Conference in Dallas, Texas.
The concert will feature the Blue Devil Ensemble, Little Big Band, Jazz Combos and the Vocal Jazz Ensembles. In addition, there will be a pre-concert performance of the student solo jazz artists in the Performing Arts Center lobby. The solo performances will begin at 6 p.m.
