KCKCC holds ‘Dig Pink’ volleyball game vs. Labette Wednesday

Pink will be the color of apparel Wednesday as Kansas City Kansas Community College plays host to Labette in the annual “Dig Pink” volleyball game.

Prizes will be awarded to the two best dressed fans at the Jayhawk Conference contest that will tip off at 6:30 p.m. in the KCKCC Field House. The annual “Dig Pink” game supports the nationwide fight against breast cancer.

The Lady Blue Devils are coming off three weekends wins in four contests in the Central Nebraska Tournament played in Columbus Friday and Saturday. The wins came over North Platte 25-23, 16-25, 25-21, 25-19; Northeast Nebraska, 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, 25-16; and Williston, N.D., 25-18, 25-19, 25-18; before losing their final to Bismarck, N.D. 20-25, 25-16, 22-25, 18-25.
