Kansas City Kansas Community College Continuing Education is offering three exciting opportunities this month for students, faculty, staff and the community to learn new skills.
The first is Fall Wreath Making. The class is from 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Dr. Thomas R. Burke Technical Education Center, 6565 State Ave. Cost for the course is $50, which includes all supplies.
Do It Yourself “Holiday Entertaining” is from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 8 in Room 3632 of the Flint Building on the KCKCC main campus, 7250 State Ave. The cost is $25 and includes a centerpiece.
The final class is the Ali Kemp Foundation Self Defense Program. It is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in Lower Jewell on the KCKCC Main Campus. The class is $40 per person and is for girls and women only, 13-years and older. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing.
