Celebrate the holiday season with the Kansas City Kansas Community College Choral Department.
“Carols and Brass!: KCKCC Winter Choral Concert,” is at 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2203 Parallel Ave. in Kansas City, Kan. Admission is free, but free will donations will be accepted.
The concert will feature a mix of English and American Choral Music by Paul Mealor, Daniel Elder, Eriks Esenvalds, Moses Hogan, Mark Hayes, Fred Bock and David Willcocks. In addition, the two choirs will perform “Five Christmas Carols” by Sir David Willcocks arranged for piano and brass quintet.
