The opening of the 2018 baseball season at Kansas City Kansas Community College depends on the weather.
The Blue Devils are scheduled to play host to Maple Woods Sunday at 1 p.m. but that game could be moved back until Monday depending on the weather and the conditions of the playing field. Monday’s game would start later, possibly 2 or 2:30 p.m.
If the game cannot be played, the Blue Devils home openers will come Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24-25, when they entertain Northeast Nebraska in a pair of noon doubleheaders.
