KCK youth found not guilty

Michael Adams Jr., originally charged in connection with the death of Brannae Browne, was found not guilty March 9 in Wyandotte County District Court.

According to the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s spokesman, the case went to court, and a not guilty verdict was issued. Adams was 15 when he was charged in the juvenile division, and a request was made to try him as an adult, according to information released at the time he was charged.

Adams was found not guilty of all charges.

Browne, 15, was killed by gunfire 2016 in the 500 block of Freeman Drive.
