An injury-accident was reported at 5:34 p.m. Thursday after a teen driver looked at his cell phone and lost control of the vehicle on an I-70 ramp.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s crash log, a Pontiac was eastbound on the I-70 ramp near 7th Street when the driver looked at his cell phone, swerved to take the exit, lost control of the vehicle and hit the barrier wall.
The 19-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man had a possible minor injury and was taken to the hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
