A special meeting of the Kansas City, Kansas Board of Education will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in the third floor Board room of the KCKPS Central Office and Training Center, 2010 N. 59th St., Kansas City, Kan.
In addition to regular business itemized in the published agenda, the purpose of the special meeting shall be to participate in observation of instruction by visiting classrooms at Quindaro elementary and Coronado middle schools.
Board members will return to the Central Office to review the DCIP annual report for 2014-2015 and approve the nonnegotiable targets for achievement as articulated in the revised District Continuous Improvement Plan.
