KCK police investigating three suspicious deaths at apartment building

Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department are currently investigating three suspicious deaths in a large, high-rise apartment building in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard.

Officers were sent to the location at 8:15 a.m. Monday on a report of a deceased adult male, according to a police spokesman.

Shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to the same apartment building when management discovered two more deceased adults, the spokesman stated. One of the adults was a male and one a female, according to the spokesman.

All three deaths are considered suspicious and are currently being investigated as homicides, the police spokesman stated.

The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Major Case Unit is investigating, according to the spokesman. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, the spokesman said. All tipsters may remain anonymous.
