KCK police investigating homicide

Police are investigating a homicide this morning in the 900 block of North 34th Street, according to a spokesman.

It was discovered around 6:53 a.m. today, according to police.

When police responded at the apartments at that location, they found a man in his 20s inside an apartment dead from an apparent stab wound. The name of the victim will be released after positive identification and family notification.

The case is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s major case unit. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
