KCK police may wear Royals caps this week

Kansas City, Kan., police officers may be wearing Kansas City Royals baseball caps during the World Series this week, said Police Chief Terry Zeigler.

The officers may wear the Royals caps while on duty to support the team and bring home a win, Chief Zeigler told a Unified Government Standing Committee on Monday night.

The Royals won 5-4 in 14 innings over the New York Mets to start the World Series on Tuesday night at Kauffman Stadium. The next game is at 7 p.m. tonight.
