Jesus S. Arrendondo, 26, Kansas City, Kan., has been charged with one count of assaulting a person on federal property with intent to commit bodily harm, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.
The crime is alleged to have occurred Nov. 6, 2016, at Fort Riley. The indictment is from a federal grand jury.
If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000. The Fort Riley Police Department investigated. Assistant U.S. Attorney Duston Slinkard and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Robin Graham are prosecuting.
