An injury was reported after a Chevrolet vehicle crashed around 3:50 a.m. Saturday on eastbound I-70 near the I-435 exit in Wyandotte County, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
According to the trooper’s report, a black sport utility vehicle cut in front of the Chevrolet, forcing the driver to take evasive action and swerve off the road to the right. The Chevrolet then crossed the lanes and struck the center median.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri, was not injured, according to the report.
A passenger in the Chevrolet, a 21-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the report.
