A crash on I-70 westbound near 3rd Street at 3:03 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, resulted in an injury, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
Two Ford vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the trooper’s report.
The first Ford, a 2015 model, hit the second Ford, a 2011 model, causing both vehicles to lose control, the report stated. The second Ford then struck the inside barrier wall. The first Ford struck the inside barrier wall and overturned, according to the report.
The driver of the first Ford, a 29-year-old Kansas City, Mo., woman, was injured and taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the second Ford, a 30-year-old Belton, Mo., woman, had a possible injury, according to the trooper’s report.
