A crash on I-35 just south of Southwest Boulevard shortly after midnight Dec. 28 sent two persons to the hospital.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a 30-year-old Lenexa, Kan., woman driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee was merging onto I-35 southbound from Southwest Boulevard. The Grand Cherokee driver overreacted from another vehicle losing control and collided with the inside barrier wall, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Grand Cherokee was taken to a hospital with a possible injury, according to the report.
A passenger in the Grand Cherokee, a 29-year-old woman from Lenexa, was injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
The two were not wearing seat belts, according to the report.
