An injury-accident was reported at 1:02 p.m. July 16 on K-7 southbound at Speaker Road in Wyandotte County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
As two vehicles were stopped at a traffic light, a third vehicle behind them hit the back of one vehicle which then was pushed into another vehicle, according to the trooper’s report.
The vehicle in the back was a Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 driven by a 37-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, according to the report. He was injured and taken to a hospital in Johnson County, the report stated.
The Avalanche struck the back of a Dodge Durango, driven by a 20-year-old man from Edwardsville, Kan. He was not injured, the report stated.
The Durango struck the back of a Honda Insight, according to the trooper’s report. The Insight was driven by a 63-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman who was not injured, the report stated.
