An injury-accident was reported at 8:56 p.m. Oct. 30 on northbound K-7 at Hollingsworth Road in Kansas City, Kan.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Chevrolet Tahoe was northbound on K-7 and a Honda Odyssey was eastbound on Hollingsworth.
The Odyssey failed to properly yield to oncoming traffic and struck the Tahoe in the passenger side, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Tahoe, a 42-year-old man from Lenexa, Kan., was injured, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Odyssey, a 35-year-old woman from Baldwin City, Kan., was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A 37-year-old Basehor, Kan., man who was a passenger in the Odyssey, also was injured and taken to the hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
A 4-year-old Baldwin City, Kan., girl in the Odyssey also was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated. The child was properly restrained in a child safety seat, the trooper’s report said.
The adults in the Odyssey were not wearing safety belts, the report said.
