An injury-accident was reported at 7:28 p.m. Nov. 13 on K-32 eastbound at 72nd Street in Kansas City, Kan.
A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report stated that two vehicles, a Honda Civic and a Ford 500, were eastbound on K-32, side by side, at a high rate of speed.
A Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer was westbound on K-32 and began to make a left turn at 72nd Street in front of the Honda Civic and Ford 500, the report stated.
The Honda Civic then struck the passenger side of the Silverado, and the Ford 500 struck the trailer of the Silverado, the trooper’s report said.
A 22-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man driving the Honda Civic had a possible injury and was taken to the hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
Another driver, a 29-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man, driving the Silverado, also had a possible injury, according to the trooper’s report.
A third driver, a 23-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, driving the Ford 500, was injured in the collision, according to the report. A 2-year-old boy in the vehicle was not injured, and was safely secured in a child safety seat.
