An injury-accident was reported at 7:37 a.m. Aug. 8 on the ramp from I-70 westbound to northbound K-7, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
A Chevy van and a Ford Escape were on the ramp when the Escape was traveling slow, preparing to merge, and was struck by the van, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Ford Escape, a 24-year-old woman from Phoenix, Arizona, had a minor injury and was taken to the hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the van, a 62-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri, was not injured, according to the report.
