An injury accident was reported at 9:41 a.m. Monday, March 19, on eastbound I-70 near the I-435 exit in Wyandotte County, according to a Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.
The driver of a Ford vehicle lost control and struck a bridge support, according to the trooper’s report. Roads were wet on Monday morning.
The driver, a 42-year-old man from Topeka, Kansas, was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
A 19-year-old Topeka, Kansas, woman who was a passenger in the vehicle was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
Another passenger, a 2-year-old Topeka, Kansas, boy, also was injured and taken to the hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
