An injury-accident was reported about 12:05 a.m. Oct. 8 on eastbound I-70, near 10th Street.
According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report, a driver lost control of a Saturn Ion and hit the barrier wall. The vehicle then slid across eastbound traffic and hit the eastbound retaining wall.
The driver, a 17-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
