An injury-accident was reported at 11:05 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, on eastbound I-670 just west of the Kansas-Missouri state line in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Ford Taurus and a Chevrolet Impala were eastbound on I-670 when the Taurus lost control and struck the concrete median wall.
After impact, the Taurus cut across to the right and struck the rear of the Impala, the trooper’s report stated. The Impala then struck the right concrete bridge wall and became disabled.
The driver of the Taurus, a 30-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, had a possible injury, according to the trooper’s report.
A passenger in the Taurus, a 42-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Impala, a 29-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had no apparent injury, the trooper’s report stated.
