An injury-accident was reported at 4:53 p.m. March 29 on eastbound I-670, west of the state line, on the Kansas side, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The trooper’s report stated that a Nissan pickup was stalled in the middle lane when it was sideswiped by a Ford passenger car.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 57-year-old man from Independence, Mo., was not injured, the report stated.
The driver of the Ford car, a 21-year-old woman from Grain Valley, Mo., was injured and taken to a hospital in Missouri, the report stated.
