An injury-accident was reported about 4:47 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, on southbound I-435 just north of Woodend Road, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
Two southbound vehicles, a Ford Windstar and a Chevrolet Camaro, collided on I-435, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Windstar, a 45-year-old Kansas City, Mo., woman, was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the trooper’s report.
A passenger in the Windstar, a 17-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, male, was not injured, the report stated.
The driver of the Camaro, a 19-year-old Atchison, Kan., man, was not injured, according to the report.
An 18-year-old Atchison, Kan., man who was a passenger in the Camaro, also was not injured, the report stated.
