An injury-accident was reported at 9:13 p.m. Sept. 15 on I-435 northbound near the Parallel Parkway exit in Kansas City, Kan.
A Ford Escort was exiting onto Parallel from I-435 when it left the roadway, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
The vehicle then struck a Kansas Department of Transportation sign and came to rest in the ditch, the report stated.
The 44-year-old man who was driving the Ford Escort was injured and taken to a hospital, according to the report.
