An injury-accident was reported at 5:10 p.m. Thursday, March 22, on northbound I-35 on the ramp to Cambridge Circle in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Ford Transit and a Chevy Silverado pickup truck were northbound on I-35 when the Silverado slowed for traffic ahead.
The Transit failed to yield and rear-ended the Silverado, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Transit, a 47-year-old man from Independence, Missouri, was not injured, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Silverado, a 57-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was injured and was taken to the hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
