An injury-accident was reported at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, on northbound I-35 at Lamar, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Three vehicles were traveling north on I-35, when two slowed for congested traffic, according to the trooper’s report. An Acura passenger car struck the rear of a Toyota passenger car that was pushed into the rear of a Chrysler passenger car, according to the report.
The trooper’s report stated the accident occurred in Wyandotte County.
A 20-year-old Overland Park, Kan., woman who was a passenger in the Toyota car was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
No other injuries were reported.
The driver of the Acura car was a 24-year-old man from Overland Park, Kan.
The driver of the Toyota car was a 20-year-old woman from Overland Park. Other passengers in the Toyota included a 22-year-old woman from Overland Park; a 21-year-old woman from Overland Park; and a 20-year-old woman from Overland Park, according to the trooper’s report.
The driver of the Chrysler car was a 66-year-old man from Overland Park.
