Injuries reported in I-70 accident

Injuries were reported in an accident at I-70 near 110th Street on Tuesday, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority trooper’s report.

A GMC Envoy was eastbound on I-70 near 110th Street at 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, when it almost hit the barrier wall, overcorrected and rolled into the right ditch, according to the trooper’s report.

The driver, a 62-year-old Basehor, Kan., woman, had possible injuries, the report stated.

A 14-year-old Leavenworth, Kan., girl passenger in the vehicle was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.

A 15-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, girl was injured and transported to a hospital, according to the report.

A 38-year-old Leavenworth, Kan., woman in the vehicle had a possible injury, the report stated.

A 16-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, girl passenger had possible injuries, the report stated.

A 10-year-old Leavenworth, Kan., girl in the vehicle also had possible injuries, according to the report.
