Two injuries were the result of a crash at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday on I-635 near I-70 in Kansas City, Kan.
A Ford pickup truck changed lanes into a Hummer sport utility vehicle on southbound I-635, causing the Hummer to spin out and strike the barrier wall, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
Two girls, ages 13 and 17, from Kansas City, Kan., in the Hummer were injured and taken to the hospital, the report stated.
The Hummer driver, a 37-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman, was not injured, according to the report. Two boys, ages 11 and 1, from Kansas City, Kan., in the Hummer also were not injured.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 19-year-old man from St. Joseph, Mo., was not injured, according to the report.
