Police are reporting an attempted aggravated assault on an officer Tuesday evening near 75th and Oakland in Kansas City, Kansas.
According to a social media post by the police chief, Kansas Highway Patrol had ended a chase of a Malibu, and a Kansas City, Kansas, officer then pursued the vehicle.
According to the chief’s social media post, after the car went into a dead-end street, it came back toward the officer, who went off the road on his bike to avoid being hit. The suspect escaped, according to the chief’s social media post.
