Kansas City, Kan., police today released the identity of the victim of a homicide Dec. 7 in the 6900 block of State Avenue.
The victim was Janet L. Billings, 29, a resident of Bonner Springs, police said. Her family has been notified.
Police said a person of interest has been taken into custody in this case.
