An injury-accident was reported at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, on westbound I-70 near the ramp to 57th Street.
According to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report, a Ford F-150 truck and a Dodge Avenger collided in the intersection at the bottom of the I-70 ramp to 57th Street.
The driver of the Ford F-150, a 57-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, man, had a possible injury and was taken to the hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
The driver of the Avenger, a 26-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, was not injured, according to the trooper’s report. A 5-month-old Kansas City, Kansas, girl who was a passenger in the Avenger also was not injured, the trooper’s report stated.
