Guardrail work will cause a series of ramp and lane closures along I-35 near downtown Kansas City, Mo., according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
All work is weather dependent.
Locations of closures and times:
•The ramp will close from Southwest Trafficway to northbound I-35 from 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31.
•The right lane will close on northbound I-35 between Jarboe Street and West 25th Street from 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31.
•The left lane on northbound I-35 between Jarboe Street and West 25th Street from 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1.
•The ramp will close from southbound I-35 to Broadway from 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb 1, to 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb 2.
•The ramp from southbound I-35 to Southwest Trafficway from 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, through 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
Motorists are reminded by MoDOT to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
