Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt has scheduled a human trafficking forum in Kansas City, Kan.
Forums on human trafficking are planned for seven cities across Kansas, according to the attorney general’s office.
The purpose of the forums is to discuss ways to build awareness and capacity in local communities for prevention, intervention and restorative care for victims of human trafficking, the spokesman said.
The Kansas City, Kan., forum will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Feb. 27, at the Urban Scholastic Center, 2900 Minnesota Ave.
