How much snow was there?

About 7 inches of snow was the snow total Thursday in one area of Kansas City, Kansas. Tonight’s low will be near 6, according to the National Weather Service. Friday’s high will be about 38. The Unified Government stated on a Facebook post that some areas are expected to become snow-packed tonight. UG crews are plowing major and secondary routes. Previously plowed areas were covered with snow again and crews will return to plow and treat the areas. Once they plow the major and secondary routes, then they will move into neighborhood routes, according to the UG. Residents should slow down and drive with caution, make sure the vehicle has snow tires; avoid parking on the street; avoid driving on hills; and don’t drive in a manner that could cause your vehicle to become stalled, according to the UG.
