Hot weather continues, storms possible tonight

Sunny skies with a high of 91 today could be followed by a chance of storms tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

Strong to severe storms are possible tonight, mainly after 2 a.m., according to the weather service forecast. Large hail and damaging winds are the main concerns of the storm.

Storms also are possible Wednesday, but are not expected to be severe at this time, according to the weather service.

Another round of storms is possible Thursday, with a potential of strong to severe storms with hail and damaging winds being the main concerns, the weather service said.

Today’s high will be 91 with sunny skies and a southeast wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning, the weather service said.

Tonight, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible, mainly after 2 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 67 with a southeast wind of 6 to 10 mph becoming north northeast after midnight.

Wednesday, there is a 40 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 a.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 89 with a light south southwest wind becoming west southwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Wednesday night, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 69 with a south southwest wind of 3 to 8 mph.

Thursday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 90 with a south wind of 3 to 8 mph.
Thursday night, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 70.

Friday, it will be sunny with a high near 92, the weather service said.

Friday night, it will be mostly clear with a low of 71, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be mostly sunny with a high of 89, the weather service said.

Saturday night, the low will be around 66 with mostly clear skies, according to the weather service.

Sunday, it will be sunny with a high near 83, the weather service said.

Sunday night, the low will be around 64 with mostly clear skies, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 84, the weather service said.
