Before the Friday storms, temperatures are expected to rise to the lower to mid-90s in some areas with the heat index in the 102 to 107-degree range, the weather service said.
Today, it will be sunny, with a high near 91 and a south southwest wind of 5 to 8 mph, the weather service said.
Tonight, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 70 and a south wind of 5 to 7 mph.
Wednesday, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 85, and a west wind of 5 to 8 mph, the weather service said. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible.
Thursday, it will be sunny with a high near 86 and a calm wind, the weather service said.
Thursday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 70, according to the weather service.
Friday, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 93, the weather service said.
Friday night, there will be a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 75, according to the weather service.
Saturday, there is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 87.
Saturday night, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 68, according to the weather service.
Sunday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 81, the weather service said.
Sunday night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 67, according to the weather service.
Monday, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 85, the weather service said.
