A 103-year-old woman received an honorary degree from Wyandotte High School on Wednesday as part of a program on the school’s history.
Many years ago, Irene Elizabeth Gier Hill had quit school to take care of her dying mother.
At Wednesday’s program, a new book on the history of Wyandotte High School was launched. The book by Craig Delich, a retired teacher and Wyandotte historian, is called “Images From the History of Wyandotte High School.”
