Kansas City, Kan., police have identified a homicide victim in the 3000 block of North 21st Street on Sept. 3.
The victim was identified as Steven L. Sykes, 36, a resident of Kansas City, Kan., according to a police spokesman.
Police responded to a disturbance at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 3 at that location, the spokesman said.
When they arrived, officers found a man in his 30s, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds, the spokesman said.
The incident is being investigated by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
