Kansas City, Kansas, police have identified a victim of a homicide at 7:47 p.m. June 4 in the 3400 block of Barnett Avenue.
The victim was identified as Narbu Tamang, a 26-year-old male resident of Kansas City, Kansas, according to a police spokesman.
Police responded to a call that there was a shooting at the address, the spokesman stated. When they arrived, officers found a victim deceased with an apparent gunshot wound.
A police spokesman said a suspect has been taken into custody.
The spokesman stated the incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Anyone with information was asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
