The victim of a homicide that was discovered Saturday morning has been identified.
The victim was Andre D. Singleton, 55, of Kansas City, Kan., according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department.
Police were called to 15 N. 10th St. on Saturday morning on a report of a shooting, according to the spokesman.
When they arrived, police found a man who was deceased. He had been shot multiple times in his apartment, police said.
The homicide is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Major Case Unit, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
